MEET ASIF RAFI, MD
Dr. Asif Rafi is a respected LA allergist, board-certified in Allergy and Immunology, as well as Geriatrics and Gerontology. His medical education includes specialized training, which enables him to connect aging processes with immune system function and allergic reactions. His medical expertise allows him to provide complete patient care from birth through all stages of life.
His work as a Senior Research Associate at Georgetown University Medical Center started his journey toward immunology research. There, he led a two-year study on HIV and AIDS in the DC area. His team was also a key site for the Women’s Interagency HIV Study (WIHS) grant. His academic training allows him to practice evidence-based treatments, which he applies to provide contemporary allergy and immunology medical services to his patients.
